There’s something poetic about the late writer, photographer and artist Peter Beard’s images. And that was what inspired Tod’s creative director Walter Chiapponi for this collection. Imagine a neutral palette running across classic staples such as trench coats, Bermuda shorts, safari jackets and hoodies. But what truly sets this season apart is how different materials are reimagined on these offerings. Think the canvas Jack Biker jacket with leather gommino pads on the elbows; the iconic T Jacket with contrasting patch pockets in leather. Elsewhere, trousers are made from parachute canvas with drawstring detail at the ankle.

The accessories on display are also equally striking. The iconic Winter Gommino takes on new proportions with thick soles for its desert and Chelsea boots, while the new Dots Run sneakers cleverly combines nylon and leather with contrasting colours. The Camera Bags (inspired by the carriers used by photographers) has a motif drawn from the archive — a lion head intertwined with the letter T. This design now runs discreetly across the Camera Bags as well as on leather backpacks and weekend bags.
