On Thursday (Jul 1), Prince William and Prince Harry reunited to pay homage to their late mother, Princess Diana, on what would have been her 60th birthday. At the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace, known to be their mother’s favorite spot, the brothers unveiled a statue of the Princess of Wales together, which they commissioned to honor her philanthropic work, as well as her “love, strength and character.”

“Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy,” William and Harry said in a statement.
