When we heard that Bollywood celebrity couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were tying the knot, we can hardly believe that reel life will finally turn into real life. The traditional Indian wedding ceremony was held in Lake Como and was heavily guarded due to the star power of both the couple and the guests who will be attending the nuptials. Hence, the world was waiting with bated breath for the release of the official wedding photos.

Undoubtedly, the wedding images were truly worth the wait.

Both Deepika and Ranveer released the photos via their respective Instagrams and their fans (us, included) are gasping at the grandiose nature of each shot and how the couple look so utterly in love. The ceremony was lavished in gold and red and no expense was spared when it comes to the incredible jewellery and wedding garments that were worn by both the bride and groom. It looks like a scene right out of a Bollywood period drama.
