Yves Saint Laurent‘s lasting impact on fashion is being cemented in a sleek new tome dedicated to the late designer’s most iconic works. Titled Yves Saint Laurent: The Perfection of Style, Rizzoli’s newest fashion book goes behind-the-scenes of the designer’s atelier, including original runway sketches, photos of Saint Laurent at work, vintage runway images and new photography of iconic Yves Saint Laurent pieces. Though it’s not the first to pay homage to the legendary designer, the new book offers a unique look inside Saint Laurent’s world with a foreword written by Pierre Bergé, the designer’s longtime partner and co-founder of Yves Saint Laurent Couture House.
