The 2024 Venice Film Festival is well underway, and this year’s lineup featuring highly anticipated movies such as Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Maria and Baby Girl has brought many A-listers to the island of Lido—where they are not just showcasing their films but also gorgeous couture and spectacular jewellery on the red carpet. From Angelina Jolie’s vintage Cartier brooches to Cate Blanchett’s stunning pearl necklace by Louis Vuitton, here are the best jewellery pieces spotted at the 2024 Venice Film Festival.
Angelina Jolie in Cartier
Jolie’s performance in Maria isn’t the only thing worthy of a standing ovation; the two Cartier brooches donned by the actress deserve just as much attention. The archival pair featuring the maison’s Panthère perched atop a chunky chalcedony and a rose with a unique open-and-shut mechanism aren’t just marvellous by design, they were also featured in the film as a reflection of Maria Callas’ singular sense of style.

Cate Blanchett in Louis Vuitton
This film star never shies away from repeating an outfit on the red carpet but for the 2024 Venice Film Festival, she brought back a high jewellery necklace by Louis Vuitton that she wore at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The necklace features dozens of Akoya and Tahitian pearls hand-strung together with art-deco details, bezel-set diamonds and enamelled motifs that rest delicately across the chest and the back.
Taylor Russell in Tiffany & Co.
Russell was a vision in white, stealing the show with a vintage couture ensemble by Chanel and a veritable array of Tiffany & Co. pieces across the house’s best collections, featuring clusters of radiant diamonds in reverse settings and pointy pear and marquise-cut diamonds that resemble the embroidery details of the gown. The star also chose a bone cuff in copper with a white finish, which added edginess to the overall look that was perfect for the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice premiere.

Eva Green in Chopard
Green dazzled the Venice Film Festival red carpet with glorious round emeralds, 21.7 carats to be exact, split between two earrings with diamond accents from Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie collection. The French actress matched these statement pieces with a suite of rings, one of which features a chunky cushion-shaped emerald and white diamonds that exude glitz and glam.
Dilan Çiçek Deniz in Boucheron
Talk about sparkle, Turkish actress Çiçek Deniz blinged out in a silver beaded gown with a plunging neckline—perfect for Boucheron’s elegant and contemporary Quatre Radiant Edition necklace in white gold and a mix of round, baguette and princess-cut diamonds, which she paired with matching earrings.
Mariacarla Boscono in Pomellato
This top model brought her A-game to the Venice Film Festival red carpet in a dramatic feathery look by Ann Demeulemeester with an accompanying headpiece. Of course, the jewels had to match the same grandeur and Pomellato provided just that with an exclusive creation—the Princess necklace in white gold, paved with diamonds and a 53-carat cabochon green tourmaline as the centre stone.
Adrien Brody in Elsa Jin
The Brutalist star sure knows how to jazz up a classic Dior suit with an extraordinary winged brooch from independent jeweller Elsa Jin. The massive piece features a whopping 85.33-carat red garnet along with hundreds of diamonds in black, grey and white to create depth to the artistic design.

Monica Bellucci in Cartier
Bellucci’s star power is undeniable as she took to the Venice Film Festival red carpet in a sculpted corset gown by Vivienne Westwood and a statement necklace from Cartier’s Nature Sauvage collection. The flora-inspired necklace consists of juicy green chalcedony cabochons, a mesmerising garnet, and a plethora of onyx and diamonds fitted on platinum.
Zhang Ziyi in Chopard
Zhang served glamour and a little bit of camp in an Armani Privé pantsuit, a beret, and an ornate fan that matched the dazzling Chopard Haute Joaillerie earrings boasting light blue tourmalines, deep blue sapphires and brilliant white diamonds on articulated panels crafted in white gold.
Giulia Salemi in Tiffany & Co.
The Italian presenter and host resembled a Greek goddess in an archival Tom Ford dress and a suite of gold jewellery from Tiffany & Co.’s Elsa Peretti collection, including the ever-timeless bone cuffs and new variations of existing designs such as the High Tide earrings and the Claw necklace with hand-carved green jade that commemorate the 50th anniversary of the legendary designer’s work for the house.
