Inspired by the magic of nature and the properties of light, Cartier’s legendary savoir-faire has found expression in new pieces that play with the refraction of light and shine with explosive intensity. In their recently-launched Magicien collection, tiny, precisely cut geometric lines set the gaze rebounding from one shimmering facet to the other, with hypnotic effect. The French house’s peerless stones are set into reptilian, sinuous shapes, echoing the forms of animals or plants both real and mythical.
