Chaumet’s newest creation is an update on the Liens collection laced with love and romance.

They say, love is a many splendid things, and count bedazzling jewelleries into those things. For centuries, beautiful baubles has been the currency of romance and that’s just the raison d’etre for Chaumet to celebrate Le Musée Éphémère (Ephemeral Museum) second exhibit—Une Éducation Sentimentale. Historic pieces dated back to the 1700s are on display at the venerable jeweler’s maison at 12 Place Vendome, Paris. From elaborate ceremonial jewellery to the dainty discretion of a birth charm, these are one-of-a-kind creations made to mark once-in-a-lifetime events.

In honour of the exhibition, Chaumet gives an update to Liens collection, creating new high jewellery and timepieces. One of the highlights from this offering is the limited edition Escapade de Chaumet ring and cuff bracelet laden with 1940s Modernist values. This sculptural line comes in a form of wound (or unwound) fluid ribbon. With its brilliant-cut diamonds and stylish bold design, these beautiful pieces capture the language of love that women understand.

The Une Éducation Sentimentale exhibition is open until September 2016.
