Karl Lagerfeld Has Designed A Range Of Engagement Rings For The Modern Millennial

The designer has teamed up with the jeweller Frederick Goldman to create his first ever collection of diamond engagement rings

Karl Lagerfeld is now designing engagement rings. Alongside his eponymous line – and in addition to heading up Chanel and Fendi – the fashion legend has somehow found time to add another string to his bow, by entering the engagement ring market with a collection designed for jewellery brand, Frederick Goldman.

While Lagerfeld has been creating wedding gowns for years – with the final look of each Chanel couture show always a bride – this is the first time he has ventured into engagement rings.

"Karl Lagerfeld bridal jewellery collections are inspired by the brand's unique design codes and signature DNA that is iconic, creative and cool," the company said in a press release.

Prices for the rings range from $1,000 to $10,000 and are offered in 18-carat white and yellow gold, as well as in platinum. The first collection will be be available from September 2016.
