It comes as no surprise that a Bond film represents a golden opportunity for product placement – the novels themselves are full of Aston Martins and bottles of Gordon’s Gin – but now for the first time a couture jewellery brand is partnering with the franchise, as the French house of Chopard has announced that it will feature in the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die.

Rising star Ana de Armas - who plays CIA agent Paloma, a character de Armas has revealed was written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge - will wear a sparkling diamond set of shimmering hoop earrings, bracelet and a necklace. She can be glimpsed wearing them in the official trailer.

In another first, these limited-edition pieces are from the Maison's Green Carpet collection of jewels, a range which is crafted entirely from sustainably-mined materials; the gold is ethical Fairmined-certified and the diamonds are all from suppliers accredited by the Responsible Jewellery Council.

Inspired by the film and its “determined and courageous” Bond women, Chopard’s Co-President and Artistic Director, Caroline Scheufele, has also reinterpreted the brand’s bestselling Happy Hearts range, creating a new collection of heart-shaped earrings, necklaces and bracelets in ethically-sourced rose gold, too. In a nod to the spy’s official MI6 number, only 7007 pieces of this new Golden Heart jewellery will be available to buy from 1 March.
