Get Up Close With Tiffany’s Most Iconic Jewels At The Tiffany Wonder Exhibition In Tokyo

For over 187 years, Tiffany & Co. has dazzled the world with jaw-dropping jewels that display immense creativity and superb craftsmanship. Now, we get to discover every facet of the American jewellery house in an expansive exhibition—Tiffany Wonder—from now till 23 June at the Tokyo Node in Japan.

Tiffany & Co. has brought hundreds of gorgeous creations to Japan for the first time to commemorate this special exhibition that features multiple rooms, which document everything from the launch of the house to the most opulent gemstones from the archives.

The first room will allow visitors to dive deep into the brand’s heritage with a tapestry that lays out everything from the founding of Tiffany’s in 1837 and the unveiling of the Tiffany Diamond in 1878 to the iconic flagship store on New York City’s Fifth Avenue, The Landmark.

Speaking of The Landmark, one of the exhibition rooms is dedicated to Tiffany’s unique window displays that feature over-the-top art installations and theatrics to delight and entertain everyone from customers to passers-by.

In the World of Design room, the house celebrates the talented designers who have not only left their mark at Tiffany’s but on the whole industry. The marvellous creations from the likes of Jean Schlumberger, Elsa Peretti, Angela Cummings, Paloma Picasso and more have been pulled out of the archives to showcase the breadth of their artistry.

The Tiffany Diamond, one of the largest fancy yellow diamonds in the world weighing in at 128.54 carats, fitted in its latest setting that pays homage to Schlumberger and his acclaimed Bird on a Rock design, also has a dedicated section. The convertible pendant and brooch features 75 carats of diamonds and 10 pink sapphires spread across five bird motifs carrying the yellow wonder.

Tiffany & Co. has become more than just a jeweller—the brand has solidified itself in the pop culture hall of fame through its collaborations with music legends such as Beyoncé and Queen, and cult classic films such as The Great Gatsby and Breakfast at Tiffany’s starring Audrey Hepburn. This room presents one-of-a-kind memorabilia from the movie such as the original typescript, Hepburn’s Givenchy dress and the Oscar statuette for Best Original Song for ‘Moon River’.

Visitors may also get up close and personal with remarkable Tiffany trophies such as NFL Super Bowl Champions, the USTA US OPEN Championship, the NBA Larry O’Brien trophies and more that honour some of the best athletes.

The Tiffany Wonder exhibition is open to the public at the Tokyo Node from 12 April to 23 June 2024. Ticket reservations can be made on the Tiffany & Co. app.
