Singapore Watch Fair Returns With World-class And Vintage Watches

When it comes to fashion and style, luxury timepieces are some of the hottest and in-demand items on the market. Collectors and fans of these precious accessories are in for a treat as The Singapore Watch Fair 2022 returns from 26 to 30 October at Tent@Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza.

The stand-alone event will present the crème de la crème of watchmaking from around the world while showcasing vintage watches as well. With the aim to foster a deeper knowledge and appreciation for the craft, guests are invited to participate in activities such as world-class watchmaking content and historical displays.

The fair also brings horologists from different parts of the globe in panel discussions. For the first time, three female collectors—Sumei Shum, Stephanie Soh and Emilyn Lee—will share more about their journey, tips and recommendations for novice watch collectors.

Influences such as Alexandre Bigler, the Head of Asia-Pacific for Christie’s Watches, and Marc Andre of WatchesTV will be talking about key industry topics and the future of watchmaking.

Independent watch brands such as L’Epée 1839, Furlan Marri, Bianchet and many more will display one-of-a-kind timepieces with heaps of rich history.

Retailer Culture Watches and watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin have also designed a Bored Ape Yacht Club timepiece that will only be launched during the event. Speaking of Bored Ape Yacht Club, NFT enthusiasts will have the chance to experience the NFT Mint Party that entails performances, a fashion show, a live mint and closed-door shopping.

The launch of Singapore’s first end-to-end private storage and Web3 service platform, FutureGrail, will also take place during the fair. The luxury watch and vault service can store prized collections in its state-of-the-art facility with standardised protocol for depositing, digitisation and fractionalisation of assets. They also boast one of the largest historical timepiece collections, with pieces dating back to the early 1800s and housed within its private museum as well.

With such an exciting line-up, the Singapore Watch Fair 2022 is definitely not one to miss for aspiring and veteran watch collectors alike.
