Precise and unconventional designs are the name of the game for Hublot watches. The Swiss luxury watch manufacturer has always pushed horological boundaries. That cutting-edge instinct has served the brand well, with artistic novelties from the Spirit of Big Bang, Classic Fusion and Square Bang collections.

Below, we discover the wonders of Hublot’s rigorous and avant-garde craftsmanship, from skeletonised frameworks and titanium chronographs to full sapphire crystal cases.

Hublot’s exclusive King Gold is actually made up of platinum and copper, a combination of metals that gives the alloy its fiery hue, and increases resistance to fading – a common issue with regular rose gold. While the pavé diamonds are stunning, the true magic lies in the skeleton dial that showcases the HUB4700, a mechanical chronograph movement with a 5Hz frequency that allows an accuracy of one-tenth of a second.

Hublot revisited the Richard Orlinski sub-collection for this year’s Watches & Wonders with a new chronograph version that is available in two strap styles – matte black rubber and microblasted titanium. Both models feature a case that carries forward the faceted design, which is prominent in Orlinski’s sculptures, with the HUB1153 movement.

One of Hublot’s most talked about novelties of 2023 is undoubtedly the Square Bang Unico series boasting a 72-hour power reserve. Every model also has an openwork design to draw attention to the HUB1280 Unico movement with a reimagined double coupling system and column wheel. Highly resistant to scratches, the white ceramic and sapphire cases elevate the watches' aesthetic and transform them into works of art.

Few timepieces have quite the same wrist presence as Hublot's unconventional Spirit of Big Bang Sang Bleu watches fitted with the precise HUB1153 movement. For the third collaboration with tattoo artist Maxime Plescia-Buchi, Hublot introduced an elongated barrel case with bevelled edges, which draws back to the artist's distinctive linework, while offering an ergonomic and flushed fit for men and women alike.
