The dress code for this year’s Met Gala definitely turned up the pressure for celebrities in attendance; and their choice of watches for the big event. Lucky for us, they did not disappoint. While we applaud singer Tyla who armed herself with an hourglass bag to match her dramatic Balmain ensemble and entrepreneur Sabrina Harrison who pushed the boundaries in a golden gown decorated with clocks, this list will highlight the best luxury watches worn by stylish A-listers at the 2024 Met Gala.
Michelle Yeoh wearing Richard Mille
Did someone say mother? As usual, the stunning actress took to the carpet with a captivating RM 07-01 timepiece with snow-set diamonds covering the entire case and dial. Yeoh also swapped in a mint green strap, which was perfect for the theme and the watch matched her dazzling earrings by Cindy Chao.

Chris Hemsworth wearing Chopard
The gorgeous co-chair of this year’s gala has an elite fleet of watches but the sporty-chic Alpine Eagle watch in rose gold with an alluring grey dial and diamonds on the bezel was the only one for him. Hemsworth completed the look with rose gold rings from the Ice Cube collection and a rose gold ring with an onyx centre stone from the Maison’s high jewellery selection.
Jon Batiste wearing Cartier
This yellow gold Tank Normale watch on Batiste’s wrist might seem like a subdued choice compared to his stunning bling, from the necklace to the art deco brooch, but it was a clever move to maintain the balance of the outfit with a timeless model that is equal parts classy and flashy.

Ben Simmons wearing Patek Philippe
Simmons took the theme very seriously with a clock briefcase but it was the Aquanaut Luce “Rainbow” with a bright red composite strap that caught our eye. The technicoloured timepiece features an array of baguette-cut sapphires and diamonds on the bezel with a lustrous mother-of-pearl dial that is très magnifique.
Serena Williams wearing Audemars Piguet
It’s nothing but gold for the tennis legend on fashion’s biggest night and it is no surprise that Willams would opt for an AP reference as she normally does on and off the court. And, there’s no better occasion to test out one of the newest models from the Swiss brand—the Royal Oak Flying Tourbillon Openworked in Sand Gold.

Morgan Spector wearing IWC Schaffhausen
Spector was a vision in fiery red, which really stood out against the black elements of his ensemble. He kept things elegant with the new IWC Portugieser Automatic 40, sporting a stainless steel case, a Dune dial and a black alligator strap, which debuted at Watches & Wonders 2024.
Troye Sivan wearing Hublot
Looking chic in Prada, Sivan entered the benefit with a sleek shirt, vest and pant fit accompanied by the Hublot Big Bang Original Steel Diamonds 38mm. The watch truly shined, thanks to the minimalistic styling with a subtle double ring linked by a chain and an insect brooch at the hip.
Barry Keoghan wearing OMEGA
This actor chose not one, not two but three watches for the Met Gala. The most obvious one was a De Ville Prestige in yellow gold but eagle-eyed watch spotters would have noticed the Seamaster Aqua Terra in 18K Sedna™ Gold and diamonds, which he also wore at the 2024 Oscars. Last but certainly not least, Keoghan wore a very rare 1930’s OMEGA Lépine “Sideros” pocket watch as a finishing touch to his look.

Nicholas Galitzine wearing TAG Heuer
The rising star and bonafide hunk pulled up with a TAG Heuer Carrera 60th Anniversary, a homage to the original model from 1963. This was a nod to his recent movie, The Idea of You, with co-star Anne Hathaway. In the film, Galitzine played the lead of a boy band that scored an exclusive TAG Heuer campaign.
Brooklyn Beckham wearing Piaget
Peekaboo, we see you, Brooklyn, rocking one of the trendiest and most exclusive watch drops of the year, the Piaget Polo 79, which pays tribute to the original Polo in celebration of the Maison’s 150th anniversary. Posh Spice’s keen sense of style is clearly hereditary.
