“I want to be a train driver, basketball player, astronaut, fairy... ” There is no limit to what you think is possible when you are four—in a world limited only by the stretch of your imagination. This month, we look at how you can help make your children’s dreams come true (except, maybe, the fairy) with a little guiding hand and encouragement.

We look at KidZania, the Mexican phenomenon that is about to launch in Singapore in April. This working city for little people is the latest theme park to take the world by storm, with activities that teach children about vocational opportunities and independence.

Then, we speak to three business owners who are all still catching the daily school bus. These ambitious and innovative mini moguls have not only turned their Internet stores into full-fledged bricks and mortar boutiques, but have branched out and are already looking at endorsements—in true Beckham-style.

And to ensure that your little ones dress right for the “ job” they want, we’ve put together a host of shopping and fashion pages to help inspire your tots’ dream vocation—even if the working wardrobe is a pink tutu and a fairy wand.
