This royal tour is off to an adorable start. Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince George and Princess Charlotte have touched down in Warsaw today, kicking off their five-day tour of Poland and Germany. The family of four was greeted on the tarmac with a grand welcome, but before stepping off the plane, George, 3, and Charlotte, 2, inspected their destination through the airplane window.

George was already waving to the crowd before stepping out the door.

Meanwhile, Charlotte held on tightly while her mother gave her a lift.

George gripped onto her father’s hand as he walked down the red carpet with Prince William. He sported a pair of belted navy shorts (his signature look), a plaid long sleeve shirt, navy socks, and lace-up oxfords.
Prince William seemed to give him a pep talk in the middle of their procession.

Charlotte smiled along in Kate’s arms. She wore a bright red printed dress with white socks and matching red Mary Janes, a striking contrast to her mother’s all-white ensemble.

She also proved she had advanced diplomatic skills for a two-year-old as she shook hands with the gentlemen who greeted her upon her arrival.

George and Charlotte were last on tour with their parents in Canada last fall. On this current trip, the royals are slated to travel to Warsaw, Gdansk, Berlin, Heidelberg and Hamburg, serving as ambassadors to the UK. Their agenda includes visiting concentration camp memorials and meeting Holocaust survivors, meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and competing in a friendly boat race on the River Neckar.
