Chanel Iman Gave Birth To a Baby Girl and Her Name Is So Precious

Chanel Iman and her husband Sterling Shepard are officially parents! The model, 27, and New York Giants football player, 24, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Cali Clay Shepard on August 10.

Iman announced the arrival of their first child on Instagram last night with sweet family photos from the delivery room. "You were worth every push every contraction! Welcome to our world @caliclayshepard ❤️ Love mommy and daddy @sterl_shep3," she captioned a shot of her and Shepard doting on their baby in the hospital bed.

And yes, their baby girl already has an Instagram, @caliclayshepard.

In another post, Iman announced her daughter's name and birthday. Shepard also reposted the photo and wrote in the caption, "Everything I do is for you two. My world!"

Iman first announced her pregnancy on Mother's Day with a sweet baby bump shot. "Daddy and Mommy can’t wait to meet you," she captioned the image. "As I approach motherhood I want to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and mommies to be ❤️ ."

Since then, the model had openly shared her pregnancy journey on Instagram. She and her hubby posed for a sultry pregnancy shoot.

She posted stylish mom-to-be bikini Instagrams.

In June, she and Shepard announced the sex of their baby and hosted a chic baby shower.

Just days before giving birth, she shared a baby bump shot at 38 weeks in Cali's new nursery.

Iman and Shepard reportedly first met at Victor Cruz's birthday party in November 2016. They tied the knot in March 2018, just two months before the model announced her pregnancy.
