Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Are Expecting Baby Number Two

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting their second child together! The model made the announcement on Instagram this afternoon with the help of her and Legend's one-year-old daughter, Luna.

"Luna, what's in here?" Teigen asks while pointing to her stomach.

"Baby!" Luna answers. The family cheers in the background.

And Teigen threw in a joke with the pregnancy announcement because she can. For the caption of the video, she wrote, "It's John's!"

Teigen recently revealed that she and Legend, whom she married in 2013, were trying for their second child through IVF after the model experienced years of fertility struggles. They also conceived Luna through the same process.

In an interview with InStyle, Teigen said she and Legend started out with about 20 embryos. But after narrowing them down to the ones “you know are going to be good for your body,” only three remained. “The first little girl didn’t work, and then the second is Luna,” she said. And it seems the third and last embryo was implanted successfully.

In January this year, Teigen revealed that their next child would be a boy “because that is the embryo we have left.” So it looks like Luna is about to get a baby brother.

Chrissy has been open about her struggles with becoming a parent, from her hardships with conceiving a child to suffering from postpartum depression. Legend has also been vocal about supporting his wife through her low points. Considering Teigen's openness about motherhood, we're sure she'll keep us updated about the status of baby number two.
