Chicago West was born via surrogate on Monday, January 15, weighing seven pounds and six ounces, Kim announced on her site. She celebrated the baby news with a message to her fans.
“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,” she wrote. “We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.”
Chi marks Kim and Kanye’s third child together, after welcoming North in 2013 and Saint in 2015. The proud parents were present in the delivery room when their surrogate gave birth, TMZ reports, and Kim was the first one to have skin-to-skin contact with her newborn daughter.
