
Just after arriving in Australia ahead of their first royal tour together, Kensington Palace has announced that Meghan Markle is pregnant with her first child.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex landed in Sydney last night to begin their royal tour of Australia, New Zealand, the Kingdom of Tonga, and Fiji. After a busy weekend for the royal family, with Princess Eugenie‘s wedding to Jack Brooksbank taking place at Windsor Castle, Kensington Palace revealed the happy news on social media.
In the unexpected tweet, the royals announced, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.” So, congratulations are most definitely in order!

Speculation regarding whether or not Meghan is pregnant has continued since her royal wedding to Prince Harry back in May 2018. The announcement that the royals are expecting their first child will thrill royal family fans worldwide.

In a series of tweets, it’s been revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been overwhelmed by the support of the general public ahead of their first child. According to royal commentator Emily Nash, it’s believed that Meghan is approximately 12 weeks pregnant. Nash revealed on Twitter, “Meghan is thought to be around 12 weeks pregnant, and the couple shared their news with family at the royal wedding on Friday.”

Attending Princess Eugenie’s wedding on Friday, Meghan and Harry looked as in love as ever. Actually, Meghan was rocking a serious glow throughout the event, which could either have been bronzer, or the fact that she’s expecting Prince Harry’s baby next year.
