Princess Charlotte Is Reportedly Taking Weekly Ballet Lessons

Three-year-old Princess Charlotte is following in the footsteps of her older brother, Prince George, and has started to take weekly ballet classes. The little princess has been attending private lessons at a dance school in South London, People reports.Back in May, Prince William told Malta's Prime Minister, "My daughter Charlotte loves dancing," the outlet reports. It seems she's kept up with the adorable hobby.
According to Harper's BAZAAR UK, Prince George learns ballet at his private school, St Thomas's Battersea. The curriculum includes "everything from swimming lessons to ballet classes," according to their website.

The sweetest part of the royal tots' love of dance is that they take after their late grandmother, Princess Diana, who was an avid dancer herself. Diana studied ballet as a young girl, but gave it up when she reportedly grew too tall to continue.

William recently discussed his son and his mother's love for dance while talking to BBC Radio 1 Teen Award winners. "George is doing dancing as well, he loves it," the Duke of Cambridge said. "And it's kind of... my mother always used to dance, she loved dancing. And if it's something you love, you do what you love. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Keep at it."

In 2017, Diana's ballet teacher Anne Allan opened up about her time working with the princess, saying, “She had dance in her soul. I realized the pure enjoyment that it gave her. She loved the freeness of being able to move and dance... I could see it helped to alleviate her emotional life."

In addition to loving dance, Princess Charlotte also appears to have a crafty side. While Kate Middleton was making beaded necklaces at an engagement earlier this month, she revealed that her daughter "would love making these."
