
The Duchess of Cambridge says that her children have already developed a love of sports.
Prince George is apparently a fencing fan, while Princess Charlotte is very keen on horse-riding. The Duchess discussed her children’s preferred sports with the Equestrian triple-fold medallist Natasha Baker at a reception honouring this year’s Olympians and Paralympians at Buckingham Palace.

“George is fascinated by fencing but I think that’s because of the face shields,” said the Duchess. “Charlotte would have loved to be here but she’d be running riot!”
The Duchess told Baker that her one-year-old daughter has a strong love of horses.

“I asked her how the children were and she said Charlotte is really enjoying her riding, which is great to hear, and I said we may see her here on a line-up in 20 years time,” Baker told reporters. “She emphasised that Charlotte has this passion about horses and although she doesn’t echo it, she’ll do her best to champion and encourage it.”
