Depp has painted portraits of many of his famous friends including Patti Smith, Bob Dylan, Marlon Brando and his ex-partner Vanessa Paradis. Just a quick glance at his portraits brings back image stills of his extreme characterization of eccentric roles like the Mad Hatter and Jack Sparrow.

Most recently, he has showed a retrospective titled “Sylvester Stallone, Real Love: Paintings 1975-2015” at the Musee d’art et d’art contemporain in Nice, France.

Having recently held a talk at Semi Permanent in Sydney, Taylor also exhibited his works at the Olsen Irwin Gallery.
