You survived the week, and now it’s time to unwind. Spinning under the stars are Darker Than Wax’s Daryl C and William J, with their mix of solid funk and jazz-infused deep house, that will set you up to party all night long with a glass of Jim Beam Citrus Highball in hand.
3. Explore the Zou Wou-Ki: No Boundaries exhibition
Collected by the Museum of Modern Art (New York) and Tate Modern (London), Beijing-born painter, Zao’s work combines eastern’s calligraphy and French’s peintre-graveurs. With each stroke controlled to indicate the temporal and spatial shifts we experience in life, Zao’s paintings are beyond breathtaking. Pique your curiosity at a workshop conducted by chief printer Eitaro Ogawa on lithography technique. Zao Wou-Ki: No Boundaries exhibition runs till 27 August at STPI.
4. Sway under the stars at Singapore Rhapsodies
Prepare your picnic basket and some wine for a breezy evening by the beach at the Singapore Rhapsodies Concert. Keep a look out for notable performances by Charlie Lim and Sezairi, Daphne Khoo, Gareth Fernandez and The Momma. Admission is free.
