You don’t need to dress in red and white or be front and centre at the parade to show your love for this Little Red Dot. There are a multitude of ways to celebrate Singapore’s 52nd birthday, starting with simply…being the best Singaporean you can be. And by Singaporean we mean an expert at eating, shopping, and supporting local talent, from artisans to artistes across all stages.

Sing out loud at “Wonder Boy”

Not only will this movie give you a completely different history lesson of 1970s Singapore, it will give you a glimpse into Dick Lee’s life as a struggling teenage musician, where he experimented with sex, drugs and rock and roll, and a pair of platform shoes that weren’t made for running…away from the police. And the music? As moving as it is world class.

Shop for good at Club 21

For every purchase made at Club 21 stores on National Day, you will receive a special tote made from lamp post banners and flags previously used during National Day celebrations. This is through Club 21’s support for The LampPost Project, a collective that provides sewing skills to the less privilege to create these bags, who then receive the profits earned from the sales of these bags.
