Spotify subscribers rejoice! You will soon be able to add tracks from Adele’s latest album 25 to your playlists.
The music streaming service – which announced just this week that it’s topped 100 million users – has confirmed that the British star’s most recent collection will be available from midnight tonight (Thursday night/Friday morning).
Adele kept her third studio collection off all streaming services when she released it back in November 2015.
It was a tactic that worked for the star, as the album went on to sell in excess of 17 million copies worldwide.
The only tracks that made their way onto the service were ‘Hello’, ‘When We Were Young’ and ‘Send My Love (To Your New Lover)’ as they were officially serviced as singles.
But now even more fans will get to hear her latest round of rousing balladry, just in time for her Glastonbury headline set on Saturday (June 25).
Adele already has around 19 million monthly listeners on Spotify, while her 2015 single ‘Hello’ is currently her most streamed song on the service.
The Top 5 are as follows:
- ‘Hello’ – 536m
- ‘Rolling in the Deep’ – 249m
- ‘Someone Like You’ – 217m
- ‘Make You Feel My Love’ – 129m
- ‘Set Fire to the Rain’ – 121m
What’s more, it’s been revealed that Adele is most popular on Spotify in Mexico City over her hometown of London.
The Top 5 cities where Adele’s music is most popular on Spotify are as follows:
- Mexico City
- London
- LA
- Santiago
- Sao Paolo
Adele is currently touring the world with 25, and will arrive in North America on July 5.
