Angelina Jolie continued her fashion streak in New York City by wearing another all-black outfit.

Yesterday, the Maleficent star stepped out in the neighborhood of Chelsea, where she delivered a style 101 on monochromatic winter dressing. Jolie wore a slinky black slip dress layered underneath a baggy black knit sweater and a sophisticated black overcoat. She topped the ensemble off with a pair of pointed black leather booties and dark aviator shades. Upping the ante, the Oscar-winning actress opted for her go-to accessory: Saint Laurent's diamond quilted tote bag.

This week, Jolie has worn a number of show-stopping looks in New York.

She first embarked on an outing with 18-year-old daughter Zahara, where she looked sophisticated in a black wrap coat from Another Tomorrow tied over a pair of light gray wide-leg trousers and heeled black leather boots. Her accessories included olive green-tinted aviator sunglasses, black leather chevron pleated YSL clutch, diamond earrings, and gold bracelets and rings.

And while attending an event at the Lincoln Center last night, Jolie looked luxurious in a sweeping textured black cape layered over a champagne-colored slip dress. To finish the look off, the mom of six wore beige pumps, large diamond stud earrings, and the Cassandre leather pouch by Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello.

The look seemingly referenced a daring red-carpet outfit that Jolie previously wore over two decades ago, to the 1997 Cable Ace Awards. Then, she had worn a black velvet cape over a metallic silver slip dress.
