When famed street artist Ernest Zacharevic wanted to create a tribute to Lee Kuan Yew, he chose to paint an image of Singapore’s founding father and first Prime Minister. “This image shows Lee Kuan Yew as a young man in a now old photograph. His recent passing was not only that of a leader but also a father; both to his own family and the extended family of Singapore,” says Zacharevic of his artwork.
