Beyoncé Congratulates Katy Perry On Her New Baby With A Whimsical Floral Arrangement

Beyoncé is sending Katy Perry her love.

Now that Daisy Dove Bloom, Katy Perry's first child with her fiancé, actor Orlando Bloom, is finally home, Perry is enjoying all her congratulatory gifts. One such present came from the "Drunk in Love" singer, who sent the family a stunning all-white floral arrangement.

Perry showed off the flowers on her Instagram Story, writing, "Ily @beyonce." The blooms from Mark's Garden included orchids, roses, hydrangeas, lisianthuses, and pompon dahlia bulbs.

Perry gave birth to her newborn daughter last week. The couple announced her arrival in a sweet Instagram post on UNICEF's account, featuring a black-and-white photo of the three of them holding hands. As both Perry and Bloom are Goodwill Ambassadors for the organisation, they wanted to use the opportunity to raise awareness about families across the globe who aren't as fortunate as they are.

"We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter," they said in a statement. "But we know we're the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was. Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes. Since COVID-19 many more newborn lives are at risk because of the increased lack of access to water, soap, vaccines and medicines that prevent diseases. As parents to a newborn, this breaks our hearts, as we empathize with struggling parents now more than ever."
