Beyoncé decided to bless the world with a surprise appearance at the 2021 Grammy Awards.

Though she skipped the traditional red-carpet entrance, she and Jay-Z were spotted on-screen later in the ceremony while H.E.R. accepted the Song of the Year Award. The A-list couple were seen among the socially distanced audience at a table in the open courtyard.

Though cameras weren't able to catch a full glimpse of Beyoncé's look for the evening at that time, we saw that the pop star was wearing an off-the-shoulder, ruched long-sleeved black dress, major statement earrings by Schiaparelli, and cat-eye sunglasses. We also saw that she wore her signature honey-highlighted hair in voluminous waves. Jay-Z also wore all black for the evening, including a black tux, a matching dress shirt, and sunglasses.

Later in the evening, Beyoncé appeared onstage with Megan Thee Stallion to accept the award for Best Rap Song for their remix of Megan's hit song "Savage." The singer showed her support for her fellow Houston native, Megan, and repeatedly told the rapper how proud she was of her while they stood onstage to accept their joint award.

The Los Angeles Times previously reported that Beyoncé was not planning to attend this year's Grammys ceremony, even though she's the most nominated artist, with 10 total. Following Bey's joint acceptance speech with Megan, Grammys host Trevor Noah announced that Beyoncé had officially tied for most Grammy wins ever for any singer, male or female.
