BLACKPINK is in the (L.A.) area!
Ahead of the release of their new studio album, Born Pink, BLACKPINK gave BAZAAR.com an exclusive sneak peek of their Los Angeles activation, BORN PINK: The Pop-Up Experience, presented by Spotify.
For just one weekend, BLACKPINK’s biggest fans can visit the curated exhibition that was dreamed up by Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa themselves to kick off their long-awaited new musical era. The pop-up features a number of different BLACKPINK-crafted photo rooms, as well as limited-edition merch that fans can scoop up when visiting the activation at at 8175 Melrose Ave., West Hollywood.

“We know our BLINKS have been waiting patiently for our new album, and now they also get to experience it in real life!” the K-pop stars said in an exclusive statement to BAZAAR.com. “It’s been amazing working with Spotify to bring BORN PINK: The Pop-Up Experience to life with immersive activations. We only want to give the best to our BLINKS and hope they enjoy this special moment as much as we do and get some cool and cute photos while enjoying it!”

Though BLACKPINK’s new album dropped, the group has already broken records and continue to cement their status as one of the biggest names in K-pop. Their single “Pink Venom” is Spotify’s most-streamed song by any female artist in a single day in 2022 so far, and last month, they also became the first K-pop girl group to ever perform at the MTV Video Music Awards.
