International Women's Day
International Women’s Day (IWD) is a time to celebrate womanhood, recognise women’s achievements, and be inspired to overcome future challenges. Besides celebrating women's successes, this year's "Braving the Wilderness" event organised by the Young Women’s Leadership Connection (YWLC) will focus on developing resilience and harnessing one’s vulnerabilities as strengths.

Discover and establish your leadership style at workshops geared at understanding and using body language to your advantage, or using storytelling techniques to improve your communication skills. Plus, engage in conversations on meaningful partnerships in the spirit of building a gender-balanced world—this year’s IWD theme, and partake in an intimate panel discussion with influential women (including Kuik Shiao-Yin, co-founder of the Thought Collective, and Sonia Chew, TV Personality and Radio Presenter) on how women can triumph trying times. End the evening with an insightful closing address by Minister Grace Fu, Minister for Culture, Community & Youth, and leader of House and Chair, YWLC Council of Advisors.
