The fashion industry creates a fantasy world of what women are supposed to look like. But now everybody is able to be themselves. As an ultra curvy model who’s unapologetically showing off her body, I think that has created a space for women to say, “I might not wear Spanx today and let my cellulite hang out.” That’s something I’m really proud of. It’s cool that designers are finally seeing us not as a token but as everyday women. I walked in my first show for Michael Kors for Fall 2017, and for Spring 2018 he had another curvy model, Sabina Karlsson. She’s spectacular—tall and black with red hair.
When I was younger I didn’t have as much confidence. I had an agent telling me that I needed to lose weight. But this is me. I feel sexy in my own skin.
I work out four or five days a week with Dara Hart at the Dogpound. Victoria’s Secret Angels like Taylor Hill and Jasmine Tookes are next to me. It’s empowering to work out with a female trainer because she’s not trying to make me lose weight; we’re just trying to get me firmer. We do rowing, boxing. dead lifts, squats, and these long, heavy ropes you hold like horse reins. They’re wild.
I love the Wolford body-con tube dress I wore to the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party. I wear an LBD almost every day, either flowy with a funky Isabel Marant studded belt or supertight with an oversize Levi’s jean jacket.

I wore Vivienne Westwood on the red carpet for the first time recently and didn’t have to wear a bra and panties. Even if you don’t have voluptuous curves, she creates them. There are bustiers inside her dresses that are so delicious.
I’m a shoe and bag addict. Accessories are always size-inclusive. I have over 100 pairs of shoes. I love a Jimmy Choo heel with toe cleavage. Right now I’m also into Nike or Adidas sneakers with a dressy dress. I have two Chanel Boy bags and I love my Jennifer Fisher hoop earrings.
I wear Chloé fragrance every single day. On my face I use SkinMedica cleanser, NeoStrata toner, Kypris serum for extra glow, and a cold press cream by Carasoin. My makeup is Charlotte Tilbury bronzer, Marc Jacobs powers, Nars concealer, and L’Oréal mascara.

My most treasured possession is a portrait my husband, Justin, painted of me. It was his first gift to me when we were dating. We weren’t official yet, and that’s how I knew he was the one.
Clinique Terre in Italy is one of my favorite holiday destinations. Justin and I also recently went to the Seychelles and stayed at the Six Senses. It was incredible.
My home is super minimal. Because my life is so chaotic, I try to keep my house chill. The vibe I’m going for is Donna Karan’s Urban Zen store. I walked in with her and was like “Donna, bring me all of this furniture.” I love light colors and dark wood.
Right now I’m reading I’m Judging You: The Do-Better Manual. It’s about how we’re speaking with emojis, going backward with education, and what it’s like to be a millennial.
I love communicating with my fans on social media. If you know me, you know I’m always half-naked, so why not be like that on social media? I always push the boundaries a little by showing an unretouched photo of my cellulite, God forbid. I’m on Instagram a lot, but at dinnertime my husband and I put our phones down.
