Blue Ivy Carter slayed at the Grammys last night. She arrived fashionably late with her mother (in an all-white outfit, no less) and enjoyed the ceremony from the front row, seated between two of the biggest names in the music business—otherwise known as her parents—Beyoncé and JAY-Z.
Many would tremble in the presence of these two giants, but not Blue. She had the guts to tell her folks to stop clapping in the middle of the ceremony, and they obeyed immediately.

When Camila Cabello gave a moving speech about Dreamers, a certain line had the audience reacting with thunderous applause. But when JAY-Z and Beyoncé clapped along, their six-year-old daughter calmly turned to them and signaled them to put their hands down—and they did.
The internet did not let the moment go unnoticed. Read through some of the best reactions below.

Whatever the reason, Blue Ivy showed off a new side to her sass last night. The tweets didn’t end with her clapping, however. Her overall attendance at the Grammys turned into a meme.
There was a reference to JAY-Z going home empty-handed:
So you didn't win anything, nor did you perform. Why am I here? I have spin class in the morning. #GRAMMYs pic.twitter.com/WW7Dv9nicM
