Chrissy Teigen Gets Candid About C-Section Recovery After Welcoming Daughter Esti

She explains how she has to "bandage together" her wounds.

Chrissy Teigen got real about her recovery process after giving birth to her third child, Esti Maxine Stephens, earlier this month.

Yesterday, the model shared a candid look at life after a C-section. In a photo of herself posted on Instagram, Teigen wore a black slipdress with stains located where she had lactated and where her C-section wounds are. She additionally wore a long coral knit cardigan, beige suede boots, and a black wide-brim sun hat.

"Omw to bandage together both my wound and 3.8 second clips of Beyonce performing in Dubai until I get a full hbo special," Teigen captioned the photo.

She also shared a photo of a stain on her shirt via her Instagram story.

"Wonderful," she wrote over the snap.

Teigen shares two other children, six-year-old Luna Simone and four-year-old Miles Theodore, with husband John Legend. The couple announced the arrival of their third child last week.

"She's here! Esti Maxine Stephens - the house is bustling and our family could not be happier ????," Teigen wrote on Instagram, captioning a photo of Luna and Miles cradling their newborn sister. "Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c section!? We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes - we feel it all! X"

Legend wrote his own message announcing the happy news on Instagram.

"On Friday, we welcomed Esti Maxine Stephens to our family, and our house is overflowing with love and joy," the singer shared. "I'm in awe of Chrissy's strength and resilience and I'm so thrilled to see how Luna and Miles embrace their baby sister. I'm so, so grateful, but that doesn't seem like a big enough word."
