Yesterday, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend boarded a direct flight from Los Angeles to Tokyo that took a quick turn of events—literally—and left them landing back at LAX after over 8 hours in the air. Luckily for all of us, Teigen live-tweeted the entire ordeal in an hours-long saga that may or may not be your new favorite detective show.

It all started four hours into the flight, after Teigen learned the plane had to turn around due to an unauthorized passenger on board:

Then, she realized she would have to spend 8 hours on a flight from LAX to…LAX:

It was partially worth it for the sake of the story though (and the tweets that followed):

But the model/chef/Twitter queen had a lot of unanswered questions…

Then, things took an interesting turn when the plane’s passengers had to participate in a police investigation following the flight. While waiting, Chrissy shared a few videos alongside husband John Legend and even posed for a selfie with a fellow passenger who started a Twitter account just for the occasion

Then, after deboarding the plane, Teigen was moved to a room where she could watch The Real Housewives which, as we all know, is the only way to recover from a nightmarish flight. There was also ramen noodles and a Twitter conversation with Lisa Rinna involved.

Finally, Teigen and Legend were booked on another flight and off to Tokyo alongside Star Wars‘ Yoda.

Not sure about you, but I would be here for a movie adaptation of this entire ordeal—starring Chrissy Teigen, of course.
