Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, opted for a timeless look this Easter.
On Sunday, the duchess attended a reception at the 2022 Invictus Games, where she wore a classic crepe couture white minidress. The Valentino creation included floral cutout embroidery that swept across the shoulders and neckline. She also wore dark brown Manolo Blahnik pumps and, in photos taken with well-wishers, carried a chocolate-hued Khaite shoulder bag.
Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry spent their Easter Sunday supporting competitors at this year’s Invictus Games, held in The Hague, Netherlands. The royals were seen chatting with athletes from Team Ukraine and Team Iraq during the track and field events. Meghan also surprised children and their parents as they listened to a reading of children’s book Hairy Maclary—which she said she had read to her own children, two-year-old Archie and 10-month-old Lilibet.
“For the men, women, mums, dads, sons, and daughters who have served, and have been wounded, injured, or fallen ill, there is nothing that compares to seeing them rediscover their ability to do whatever they put their minds to,” Harry said in a speech during the sporting event. “And there is nothing like seeing you as families watch proudly from the stands. So finally, and most importantly, I want to thank all of you—the family and the friends. We couldn’t do this without you. And in many cases, we wouldn’t be here without you.”
The duchess has been on a style streak since arriving in the Netherlands. For her first appearance, she wore an all-white Valentino suit, styled with a handbag also from the fashion house and the white Aquazzura heels she wore during her 2018 wedding.
The next day, Meghan paired a black tweed jacket from Celine over a white top with a pair of light-wash denim jeans, which she wore with the hems rolled up. She accessorized with Chanel flats and a Celine handbag.
And earlier on Sunday, she was spotted in an ivory belted jacket by Brandon Maxwell and jeans.
