Emily Ratajkowski‘s predisposition for bikinis has meant that it’s never been unlikely that she would launch a swimwear line, and yet a brief spot of detective work suggests that a brand could be introduced sooner rather than later.
The model and activist shared an Instagram shot of herself wearing a polka-dot cut-out bikini with knotted tie detailing. So far, so normal – Ratajkowski’s social media feeds are filled with similar images – but she tagged a name of a brand we’d not yet heard of, Inamorata Swim, alongside the caption “sneak peak”.
Inamorata’s Instagram page features pictures of the model (often with her face out of view, but that enviable figure is difficult to mistake) wearing other swimwear styles, including a red off-the-shoulder two-piece, as well as a black bikini cut high over the derriere. The rest of the feed shows beautiful beachside shots, as well as iconic images of famous models wearing bikinis, such as Gisele and Kate Moss. The word ‘inamorata’ is Italian, meaning a woman someone is in love with.
Emrata Holdings LLC acquired the trademark to Inamorata in August this year, which shows the model is serious about her business.
