The onslaught of colder weather may bring to mind muted and dark colors, but Gigi Hadid isn't letting that limit her fall wardrobe.

Yesterday, the supermodel was photographed out and about in New York City while wearing an outfit that seamlessly blended autumnal color palettes with an unexpectedly vibrant hue.

Hadid looked effortlessly suave in a mint green sweatshirt with a brown knit collar bearing a neon green and orange geometric design; she layered the piece over an earthy brown turtleneck. For the bottom half of her ensemble, she wore loose slacks in a chocolate brown shade, as well as a pair of brown leather loafers with red undertones. Accessories included tortoiseshell sunglasses from British eyewear brand DMY and a caramel-toned shoulder bag by Prada.

The model has been spotted out in several cozy, colorful knits since she announced the debut of Guest in Residence, her very own knitwear brand. The 100 percent cashmere line officially opened for business in September.

Hadid spoke to BAZAAR.com about the launch.

"I know people are like, 'Oh, you know, I'm sick of my office job.' And I'm so stoked to go into an office with the same people every day," she said of her work as the brand's creative director, adding that she "much prefers" this role to being a model.

She also spoke on her attitude when it comes to dressing.

"My goal in life is to look as chic or put together as possible while always being comfortable," she said. "I very rarely, even on red carpets, will wear things that I feel uncomfortable in throughout the event because I just feel like I can't be myself as much when I'm thinking about what I'm wearing in that way."
