Update, 3:25 PM: Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid both confirmed their breakup on social media this afternoon.
Malik wrote: "Gigi and I had an incredible meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend. She has such an incredible soul. I'm grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time, we wish this news could have come from us first. We love you all. xZ"

And Hadid wrote: "Breakup statements often seem impersonal because there is really no way to put into words what two people experience together over a few years .. not only in the relationship, but in life in general. I'm forever grateful for the love, time, and life lessons that Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for. As for the future, whatever's meant to be will always be. xG"

Original story, 2:43 PM: After two years of dating, rumors are swirling that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have decided to call it quits.
According to The Sun, the couple quietly split earlier this month after "drifting apart" due to hectic work schedules.
“They are no longer a couple but they do remain close and are supportive of each other," a source said. “The reality is that they’ve grown apart, having been together for a long time. They have crazy work schedules that would put pressure on any relationship.”
The same source alleges that the breakup was amicable and "they both have respect for each other." Although neither of the two have addressed the rumors, it should be noted that Zayn does not currently follow Gigi on Instagram—but she still follows him.
Fans were also quick to notice that Zayn unfollowed Gigi's sister Bella on Instagram a few weeks ago too.

The couple's last Instagram together was posted by Gigi for Zayn's birthday on January 12. The model posted a sweet selfie video along with a series of photos captioned, "love this man more than I could ever put into words, & am inspired by his drive to be and do better everyday ✨ cheers to YOUR YEAR my @zayn - happiest happiest birthday & 25th year of life !! I’m proud to be by your side x."
This wouldn't be the first time Gigi and Zayn has decided to call it quits. The couple briefly broke up and got back together again back in June 2016.
Neither Hadid or Malik's reps have responded to rumors of a breakup, but we will update this space if they do.
