Sure, not everyone spills their guts in a diary-esque essay filled with steamy PDA photos for a high-profile magazine, but not everyone is dating Kanye West.
Coming off the high of their second date, for which West took Uncut Gems star Julia Fox to see Slave Play followed by dinner at celeb hot spot Carbone, the actress talked to Interview magazine about their nascent romance, from the way they met (a week ago) to the “real Cinderella moment” West planned for her.
“I met Ye in Miami on New Year’s Eve and it was an instant connection. His energy is so fun to be around,” she said. “He had me and my friends laughing, dancing, and smiling all night. We decided to keep the energy going and fly back to New York City to see Slave Play. Ye’s flight landed at six and the play was at seven and he was there ON TIME. I was impressed. After the play we chose to do dinner at Carbone which is one of my favorite restaurants. Obviously.”
At the restaurant, West apparently “directed an entire photo shoot” for Fox, which the Carbone diners “loved” and “cheered us on while it was happening.” Totally normal second-date vibes.
Post-dinner, Fox said, “Ye had an entire hotel suite full of clothes. It was every girl’s dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment. I don’t know how he did it, or how he got all of it there in time. But I was so surprised. Like, who does things like this on a second date? Or any date! Everything with us has been so organic. I don’t know where things are headed but if this is any indication of the future I’m loving the ride.”
Interview also published PDA-filled photos, which show West helping Fox change into her surprise wardrobe—and depict the two in some cozied-up positions.

After the couple’s second date, a source told People, “He was excited she was there, and they were fully going out after. Julia stayed for the whole after talk. She was very supportive and hung out and seemed very happy to be with him.”
In November, the rapper publicly pleaded to reconcile with ex-wife Kim Kardashian amid their divorce proceedings.
“All I think about every day is how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I’ve caused,” he had said in a video posted to his Instagram, per People. “I take accountability for my actions. New word alert: misactions. The one thing that all my successes and failures have in common is me.”
