The event also marked an enchanting fashion moment for Hudson, who looked ethereal in a golden gown from Elie Saab’s fall 2022 couture collection. The champagne-coloured dress included a mock turtleneck, draping floor-length sleeves, a sweeping train, and silver and bronze circle sequins embellished all over. The actress accessorised the look minimally, opting to wear diamond earrings, and had her hair slicked up into a chic high bun.

Hudson and Hawn are sure to turn heads whenever they step out onto a red carpet together. For instance, the pair made a splash back in 2018 when they both presented at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Then, Hudson wore a tiered baby pink gown covered in black polka dots and accented with black lace and a black bow sash tied around her waist. Meanwhile, Hawn opted for a more minimal look, wearing a one-shoulder gown in Tiffany blue.

“I feel so lucky and blessed,” Hudson told E! News of co-presenting an award with her mom last night. “I think some of the things that my mom has taught me is to find compassion in everything that I do, kindness, and that family is everything.”
