Kate Hudson and Danny Fujikawa made their red carpet debut as an official couple at the premiere of Goldie Hawn’s Snatched in Los Angeles last night.

The pair put on a loving display for photographers as they arrived for the screening to support Hudson’s mother, Goldie Hawn, in Amy Schumer’s comedy adventure.

The actress went on to tell E! Online that Fujikawa was adjusting just “fine” to life in the spotlight, before adding that he was a real “keeper”.

The couple were reportedly introduced through mutual friends, and Fujikawa—like Hudson’s previous partners—is also a musician. He founded music label Lightwave Records in 2013, and had been in a band called Chief with his drummer brother Michael.

Hudson split from Muse frontman Matt Bellamy—with whom she has five-year-old son Bingham—in 2014 after they quietly called off their engagement.

“Relationships ending are painful, and you can choose to carry that or you can choose to reframe it,” the Almost Famous star told Allure following their break-up.

“If Matt and I had a great relationship, we would still be together, but we chose to move on because we had different visions of how we wanted to live our lives.

“That doesn’t mean, though, that we can’t rebuild something that would be the best thing for the kids.”

Hudson also has 13-year-old son Ryder from her former marriage to The Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson. Meanwhile, Bellamy is currently in a relationship with model Elle Evans.

Also at the premiere last night were Hawn and Kurt Russell, who recently celebrated their 34th anniversary, and were honored with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
