Prince Charles‘ 70th birthday party is in full swing, which means that members of the royal family have begun arriving for the evening celebrations at Buckingham Palace.
And while there was previously some doubt as to whether Kate Middleton and Prince William would make it to Prince Charles’ 70th birthday party, the Duke and Duchess have just been spotted arriving at Buckingham Palace for the event. Despite having spent the day in Yorkshire carrying out their official royal duties, Kate and William still found the time to make it to the unforgettable bash, which is being hosted by the Queen.
For Prince Charles’ birthday party, Kate appears to be wearing a one-shoulder pink gown that looks strapless from some angles. The look is definitely more revealing than the outfits that she usually opts for. She wore her hair in an intricate up-do, which is also unusual for the Duchess. Her diamond drop earrings were a total show-stopper, too:

According to @Emma4AboutRoyal on Twitter, Kate’s earrings “were first worn on 14 October 2011 for a 100 Women in Hedge Fund dinner,” and it’s been speculated that they were possibly a wedding gift, considering the Duchess got married earlier the same year. Kate has worn the incredible earrings on several occasions before, including to the BAFTAs in 2017:
