Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson made their red carpet debut at an event no one expected.
The couple attended this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday (April 30) in Washington, D.C., an event that celebrates the work of White House journalists and the media, hosted by Trevor Noah. The reality star was invited on behalf of Disney/ABC following the premiere of her Hulu show The Kardashians, with the Saturday Night Live cast member joining as her guest.
For the event, the SKIMS founder wore a shimmery Balenciaga couture gown, featuring a high neck and a short train. She wore her hair down her back in a wet look, and accessorised the dress with circular diamond studs by Lorraine Schwartz.

The reality star also shared several pics from the event, including a close-up of herself and the comic holding hands, on Instagram with the caption, “White House din din.”
The duo’s White House appearance comes two days before were expected to make their debut at this year’s Met Gala. Since they began dating following Kardashian’s SNL episode, the couple have slowly become more public, making their first couple appearance at last month’s The Kardashians premiere in LA.
In an April interview with Good Morning America coanchor Robin Roberts, Kardashian hinted that she can see a future with the comedian.
“I wouldn’t be with someone if I didn’t plan on spending a lot of my time with them,” she said. “Obviously, I wanna take my time, but I’m very happy and very content, and it’s such a good feeling just to be at peace.”
