Forget Meghan Markleand Kate Middleton for a second, because there’s another royal family member in our midst, one who is so down-to-earth, relatable and—dare we say it—cool, we can’t quite believe she’s an heir to the British monarchy.
The 21-year-old is the daughter of Dr. Sylvana Tomaselli and the Earl of St Andrews George Windsor, who is the eldest son of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, who is first cousin to Queen Elizabeth II. Um, got it?
And while Prince Harry and the like don’t have social media accounts (ones we know of anyway), Amelia’s Instagram feed is public, and documents the University of Edinburgh student’s travels around the world, revision days colour-coding notes, FROW catwalk shows and her favorite hobbies, which appear to include reading, drinking tea and sailing.
Having made her catwalk debut earlier this year at the Dolce & Gabbana show during Milan Fashion Week, the tiara-wearing student ramped up the royal family’s fashion credentials, joining the likes of Anaïs Gallagher and Rafferty Law down the runway.

However, while the twenty-something might currently be 36th in line to the throne, boast a modeling contract with Storm model agency (the former home of Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss) and been dubbed by Tatler as the ‘most beautiful member of the royal family‘, Windsor has a far more refreshing outlook on her role in the world than to rely on her family’s connections and fortune.
“I would love to make a contribution to any aspect behind the creative process. On my year abroad I want to really further my understanding of every aspect of a fashion house: from the making of the fabrics to the production of a catwalk show,” she said in an interview in January.
She also admitted she loves Adwoa Aboah’s style, is off to Glastonbury later this month, is obsessed with the La La Land Soundtrack and couldn’t live without avocado, papaya and Jo Malone body moisturizers (“as a special treat”).
