Lindsay Lohan Is Already Showing And 'So Happy' Amid Pregnancy News, Her Mom Says

Lindsay Lohan's mother could not be happier for the actress amid her journey to motherhood.

In a new interview with People, Dina Lohan voiced her excitement over the Freaky Friday star's pregnancy news and revealed Lindsay has always wanted to be a mother.

"I'm literally over the moon. I'm so happy, I can't stop smiling," Dina told the magazine. "It's incredible. We're just so excited. It's just such a beautiful thing for my child! And I love babies. Who doesn't?"

She added, "My oldest baby is having a baby," revealing that the actress already has a visible baby bump. "It's so crazy. I'm in disbelief a little bit sometimes because you're like, 'Well... it makes you older clearly!'"

Lindsay announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post this Tuesday, writing, "We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼." It will be her and husband Bader Shammas's first child.

"Lindsay has always loved kids because I love kids and my mother loves kids; I'm one of four," her mom said. "We have a big family, so she's always wanted children. And she's so maternal. Isabelle, her niece just runs to her when she sees her."

Lindsay, 36, is the eldest of her siblings, followed by Michael, 35, Aliana, 29, and Cody, 26. Michael welcomed a daughter in 2021.

Dina added that the timing for Lindsay and Bader to have a child is "perfect."

"She's been trying and then it happened, that little stick came up positive," Dina said. "It's the right time for her and Bader is an angel. Her husband is so sweet and they're just so happy. They're just really happy and ready."

Lindsay and Bader confirmed their marriage in July 2022 via an Instagram post and later shared dreamy photos from their honeymoon in Turkey.

"He's so happy," Dina said of Bader.
