You Won't Believe What Mariah Carey Did To Her $250,000 Wedding Dress
That's one way to get over a breakup
It looks as though there's no love lost between Mariah Carey and her ex-fiancé, James Packer. The singer just showed the world exactly what she thought of her ex in the new music video for single "I Don't," in which she sets the gown that would have been her wedding dress on fire.
In the video, Carey is seen running away from a huge mansion in her $250,000 Valentino dress.
Throughout the song, Mariah sings lyrics like, "You messed up all we had," and "I used to love you but I don't," and writhes around in bridal-inspired lingerie on the hood of a white Bentley (because, that's what all jilted brides do).
But it's three minutes into the video that the pace really picks up. The singer, now changed into a crimson floor-length dress, drags the wedding gown to a fire pit and suddenly feeds it to the flames.
Then she walks out of the frame as the dress burns.
I guess this means a reconciliation is out of the question.
