But over the weekend, the Duchess of Sussex added a new, unexpected figure to the roster: Vivian Ward of Pretty Woman.

Eagle-eyed fans pointed out that the brown gingham dress Markle wore for a polo match on Saturday was reminiscent of the cocoa polka dot frock Ward (portrayed by Julia Roberts) wears to a polo match in the 1990 film.

Obviously, the dresses aren’t identical, but the banded wide brim hats do add a nice similar touch. Markle went for a sleeveless eyelet number by Shoshana paired with a Madewell straw topper, shades, and leather lace-up sandals by Sarah Flint.
