Queen Elizabeth celebrated her 70-year anniversary of ascending the throne with four days’ worth of Platinum Jubilee celebrations that rolled out last week, and Naomi Campbell joined in on the festivities in style.
Drawing a spotlight to the rich fashion history of the United Kingdom, the supermodel opted for a head-to-toe Burberry outfit. The ensemble was composed of a strapless trench coat gown, which she paired with shades framed with the house’s iconic black-and-beige checkered print. Other accessories included layers of delicate gold chain necklaces, stacks of black bead bracelets, gold earrings, and a camel-colored shawl.
Campbell shared photos from her Platinum Jubilee outing on Instagram, including photos of her posing next to fellow supermodel friends Twiggy and Erin O’Connor, the Teletubbies, and life-sized models of creatures from the popular British TV series Doctor Who.
“#Honored to be apart platinumjubilee #platinumpageant @platinumjubileepageant #70❤️🇬🇧❤️🇬🇧❤️🇬🇧,” she wrote in the caption.
Campbell also recently made a fashion-packed appearance at the 75th Cannes Film Festival.
In her first appearance, she walked the red carpet in a dramatic feathered black gown, a Valentino Haute Couture creation that featured a generous dose of side boob. She upped the ante with accessories, opting for Bulgari’s Serpenti Ocean Treasure necklace.
At another Cannes event, Campbell again wore Valentino, this time a long-sleeved gown with floral embellishments doused in the Italian fashion house’s signature shade of hot pink, which creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli first introduced in his fall/winter 2022 collection.
