Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Wedding Rings: Everything To Know

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren't at St. George's Chapel yet, but we already have an idea of what their rings will be like. The couple's bands will be from Cleave and Company, the same jeweler that created Meghan's engagement ring.

Meghan's ring will be crafted from Welsh gold, Kensington Palace announced, and it's a gift from the Queen. Harry's ring, on the other hand, will be platinum, "with a textured finish." Both pieces were made in the Cleave workshop.

Prince Harry's decision to wear a wedding ring is significant; other men in the royal family have do not wear a band. Prince William decided not to due to personal preference, and Prince Philip has also not worn a ring in his 70-plus years of marriage to Queen Elizabeth II. Harry's father, Prince Charles, has decided to wear a ring, and has worn one through both his marriages to Princess Diana and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

At today's ceremony, the couple will exchange bands at the "giving of the rings" part of the order of service. According to the program, they'll put a ring on each other's fourth finger on the left hand and say: "Harry/Meghan, I give you this ring as a sign of our marriage. With my body I honor you, all that I am I give to you, and all that I have I share with you, within the love of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit."
